# Organise your creator roster with tags and groups

> Use tags and groups in Influocial's Creator CRM to segment creators by niche, campaign type, or status — and build reusable shortlists for future campaigns.

Tags and groups are the two main tools for organising creators inside Creator CRM. Tags let you label individual creators so you can filter and find them quickly. Groups let you bundle creators together into reusable shortlists you can pull into any future campaign. Together, they replace the manual sorting work that usually ends up in spreadsheets.

    ## Using tags

    Tags attach directly to a creator record. You can use existing tags or create new ones to suit your workflow. Tags are searchable and filterable across your CRM, so you can surface the right creators without scrolling through your full list.

    **Common tags to create:**

    * **Niche** — `fitness`, `beauty`, `food`, `lifestyle`, `parenting`
    * **Campaign type** — `gifted`, `paid`, `ambassador`, `UGC`
    * **Status** — `reviewed`, `archived`, `strong performer`

    ### How to tag a creator

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Open the creator record">
        Go to Creator CRM and select the creator you want to tag.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Add a tag">
        In the creator record, open the tags field. Select an existing tag from the list or type a new tag name to create one.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Save">
        The tag saves automatically and becomes searchable and filterable across your CRM immediately.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

    <Tip>
      Create a consistent set of tags before you start adding creators. A small, agreed-on tag list keeps your CRM filterable as it grows.

    ## Using groups

    Groups let you collect creators into named sets that you can reuse across multiple campaigns. Unlike tags, which label individual creators, groups are designed to hold shortlists — a curated set of creators ready to invite into a campaign or outreach sequence.

    **Useful groups to create:**

    * Recurring campaigns (e.g. monthly gifting rounds)
    * Ambassador programs
    * UGC rosters
    * Paid social pools

    ### How to create a group

      </Step>

      </Step>

      <Step title="Create a group">
        Click **Create group** and give it a clear, descriptive name.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Add creators">
        Add creators to the group from your existing CRM records.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

    <Tip>
      Create your groups before your next campaign launch. When it's time to shortlist, you can pull a ready-made group into the campaign in minutes instead of hours.
    </Tip>

    <Note>
      Groups are reusable across multiple campaigns. Adding a creator to a group does not remove them from any campaign or other group they belong to.
